My love letter to the beautiful people who make up our town.
6 days.
28 shoots.
Countless phone calls, texts, Facebook messages, and emails.
Not enough sleep.
An army of people rallying behind me to help.
0 people told me no.
A full heart.
When Rick Wells asked me if I would help him with a film for One Heart McKinney for North Texas Giving Day
I thought I was doing him a favor. I had no idea what a blessing it would actually be for me. I was privileged to spend the week documenting the most amazing humans. So many wonderful people doing good work who I can’t wait to hug once this is all over. My soul has been renewed.

Trying to produce a film during social distancing times is challenging, but everyone went above and beyond to make it happen. At the end of the day, we are family and family takes care of each other.
I am proudly rooted in McKinney, TX.
Thank you so much to Lauren Palmer of The Art of Living Beautifully for helping me focus my emotional words into a beautiful script. I can never think her enough. Please share and donate if you can. One Heart McKinney is doing wonderful work in our community.
